Senior Construction Supervisor

Neon Consulting is an established architecture and construction consultancy based in Victoria Island, Lagos, delivering design and construction services for projects across Nigeria.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Supervisor to oversee site operations, ensure compliance with construction standards, and support the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion. The role demands strong technical judgment, leadership on site, and a firm grasp of Nigerian building regulations.

• Supervise day-to-day site operations and coordinate activities of workers, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Ensure all construction work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Enforce site safety standards and ensure adherence to Nigerian building regulations
• Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings to guide site execution
• Monitor project progress against schedules and report on milestones and site issues
• Coordinate inspections, material deliveries, and quality control checks
• Resolve site-level technical problems and escalate risks to project management
• Support project delivery reviews, handover processes, and documentation

• HND or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years' relevant site supervision experience
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and Nigerian building regulations
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
