About the Role
As a Field Credit Officer, you'll onboard and manage businesses accessing Moniepoint's credit products — growing a loan portfolio while ensuring healthy repayment. You'll assess businesses using the 5Cs of credit (with a focus on capacity, character, and capital) and guide credit decisions from application to disbursement.

What You'll Do

• Identify and onboard viable businesses in your area to open Moniepoint business accounts
• Help customers optimize account usage to qualify for credit
• Review, approve, or decline loan requests through thorough analysis
• Conduct on-site visits to evaluate business books, inventory, and turnover
• Meet gross loan portfolio and profit targets
• Monitor active loans for continued account use and repayment performance
• Handle other credit-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• OND minimum in a business-related field
• 2+ years in sales for credit products at a financial institution
• Solid understanding of credit risk analysis
• Financial analysis knowledge is a plus
• Must reside in one of the following zones:
  • Akwa Ibom: Akwa Ibom North West, Akwa Ibom South, Itu, Uyo
  • Bayelsa: Yenagoa, Bayelsa
  • Cross River: Cross River South, Cross River North, Cross River Central
  • Delta: Delta South 1, Delta South 2, Delta South 3, Delta South 4, Delta North 1, Delta North 2, Ughelli, Isoko
  • Edo: Ovia, Edo North, Edo Central, Edo South
  • Rivers: Port Harcourt, Obio Akpor, Opobo/Nkoro, Ikwerre, Bonny
