About the Role

Guinea Insurance Plc is hiring a Junior Backend Developer in Lagos, Nigeria. This is a full-time onsite role for a developer with 1-3 years of relevant backend experience.

Requirements

First Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or another closely related discipline.
Must have completed the NYSC programme and possess evidence of NYSC completion/exemption as applicable.
1-3 years of relevant professional experience in software/backend development.
Practical experience with PHP/Laravel, JavaScript and/or Node.js.
Experience developing, consuming or integrating RESTful APIs.
Working knowledge of Git/GitHub, Postman and SQL/database concepts.
Practical experience building applications with Laravel.
Experience developing backend services with Node.js.
Experience integrating third-party APIs.

Location

Onsite in Lagos, Nigeria.
