Senior Credit & Marketing Officer

About the Role

Prodigy Microfinance Bank is seeking a business-oriented and result-driven Senior Credit and Marketing Officer to oversee the company's ongoing marketing operations, attract loans and deposits from prospects, enhance efficiency, and drive operational excellence across the business development departments. This is a full-time onsite role in Lekki, Lagos.

The candidate must be currently working on the Island within a financial institution with strong experience in marketing.

Compensation: NGN 400,000 - 600,000 monthly.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing plans and campaigns aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new opportunities.
• Plan and coordinate promotional events, sponsorships, and brand activations.
• Oversee the production of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and presentations.
• Maintain and update the company website and social media accounts.
• Collaborate with sales teams to generate leads and support business development.
• Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels.
• Work closely with the team lead to develop and implement the company's strategic goals and objectives.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience.
• CIBN certification is an added advantage.
• MBA or Master's degree in the relevant field is an added advantage.
• Experience working with a commercial bank or any financial services institution.
• Experience working in the banking sector is required.
• Must currently work on the Island within a financial institution.
• Proven track record of scaling organizations and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, marketing, and performance management.
• Excellent marketing, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Good understanding of financial regulations, lending, blockchain, digital payment, or related sectors.
