About the Role
Unified Payment Services Limited is hiring a Head, Domestic Switching and Terminal Operations in Lagos, Nigeria. This is a full-time onsite Payment Operations / Fintech leadership role leading domestic switching and terminal operations, ensuring reliable transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation, regulatory compliance, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee domestic transaction switching, routing, authorization, and platform performance.
- Manage POS/terminal deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and performance.
- Oversee settlements, reconciliations, chargebacks, and disputes.
- Ensure compliance with CBN, NIBSS, and card scheme requirements.
- Drive process automation, system improvements, and operational efficiency.
- Lead and develop the Switching and Terminal Operations team.
- Manage relationships with banks, NIBSS, card schemes, merchants, and partners.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' experience in payment operations, switching, or electronic banking.
- At least 3 years in a leadership role within a fintech or PSP environment.
- Master's/MBA preferred.
Location
Onsite in Lagos, Nigeria. Full-time.
