About the Role
ALP NG & Co. (Africa Law Practice NG & Company), a corporate commercial law firm headquartered in Lagos, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead core HR functions and partner with senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Law, Business Administration, or a related field; professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) is required.
- 8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a senior role.
- Demonstrated experience in core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Strong skills in HR policy development, compliance with Nigerian labor laws, and HR documentation and reporting.
- Proficiency in developing and delivering training, managing career development programs, and supporting organizational learning.
- Experience with compensation and benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HR data management using HRIS tools.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership, support change management, and drive employee engagement initiatives.
- Prior experience as an HR Manager or senior HR generalist, ideally in professional services, legal, or consulting environments.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
