Business Development Manager

A growing law firm in Lagos is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across corporate, commercial, tech, fintech, energy, maritime, manufacturing, international trade and dispute resolution.

The role covers:

• Building and managing the firm's opportunity pipeline (prospects to pitch to mandate)
• Client acquisition and relationship management with founders, investors, execs and regulators
• Preparing pitch decks, proposals and capability statements
• Market research and sector insight briefs
• CRM upkeep and BD reporting against KPIs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Law, Communications, Economics or a related field
• 5+ years in business development, client relationship management or commercial growth
• Experience in a law firm, professional services, consulting, financial services or B2B advisory environment strongly preferred
• Strong writing, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
