Accounting Assistant

MartGlobal Limited—a leading manufacturing company dedicated to producing high-quality packaging polythene and plastic products—is recruiting an Accounting Assistant in Lagos. This role supports core financial processes, verifying and reconciling customer payments, updating account statements, and assisting with financial system management.

Key Responsibilities

• Payment Reconciliation: Verify and reconcile all customer payments and transactions against their corresponding account statements.

• Financial Administration: Support accounting systems and practices in alignment with standard financial policies.

• Multitasking & Operational Support: Perform routine accounting duties, maintain accurate documentation, and manage operational timelines under pressure.

Requirements

• Core Competencies: B.Sc / HND / OND in Accounting, Finance, or related fields; working knowledge of accounting software (Sage, Peachtree, or SAP); and understanding of best-practice financial policies.

• Behavioral Attributes: Excellent time management, resilience, ability to multitask under pressure, and keen attention to numerical accuracy.
