Head, Contract & Procurement

Alpha Mead Group—a leading real estate, facilities management, and infrastructure development corporation—is recruiting a Head of Contract & Procurement in Ikoyi, Lagos. This executive role is responsible for directing corporate strategic sourcing, overseeing large-scale tendering and bidding activities, managing vendor/supplier relationships, and leading commercial contract negotiations across the Group's multi-sector operations.

• Strategic Sourcing & Category Management: Formulate and execute group-wide procurement strategies, category plans, and sustainable supply chain management initiatives.

• Tendering & Contract Negotiation: Lead major tendering processes, review bidder proposals, structure commercial terms, and draft complex service/supply contracts.

• Supplier & Vendor Relationship Management: Evaluate vendor performance, drive supplier development, negotiate competitive SLAs, and manage supplier risk profiles.

• Departmental Leadership & Compliance: Oversee procurement governance, enforce internal control standards, and align supply chain operations with corporate business objectives.

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or Law).

• Work Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, contract administration, and procurement management in a structured environment.

• Certifications & Governance: NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate is mandatory; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CIPP, CISM) are strongly advantageous.

• Competencies: Strong commercial negotiation skills, analytical capabilities, executive leadership, and stakeholder management expertise.
