Job Details

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and business activities
- Review financial results, reconciliations and variance analysis, providing insights to management
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, Nigerian statutory requirements and applicable regulatory standards
- Coordinate external audits and statutory reporting of audit findings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial reporting, audit or financial control
- ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification is required
- Previous experience in the upstream oil and gas (E&P) industry is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, consolidation and financial controls
