JOB TITLE: Project Engineer
DEPARTMENT: Project Management
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of CNG, NGV, PRMS, and high-pressure piping projects. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with approved specifications, quality standards, HSE procedures, and applicable regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate CNG, NGV, PRMS, and high-pressure piping projects.
• Coordinate site activities, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor mechanical installation, piping fabrication, equipment erection, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
• Review P&IDs, GA drawings, piping layouts, equipment datasheets, BOQs, and material specifications.
• Monitor high-pressure piping installation, welding, supports, pressure testing, leak testing, flushing, and purging.
• Track project schedules, milestones, deliverables, materials, and contractor performance.
• Prepare project progress reports, site reports, meeting minutes, inspection records, and other project documentation.
• Support project handover, including test records, commissioning documents, as-built drawings, and equipment documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HSE procedures, PTW, LOTO, JSA, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and PPE requirements.
• Work closely with Engineering, HSE, QA/QC, Procurement, Operations, Maintenance, contractors, and vendors.
REQUIREMENTS
• B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in CNG stations, high-pressure piping, NGV, and PRMS installation and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3, WPS, ASTM A106, NFPA 52, and relevant Nigerian regulations.
• Ability to review P&IDs, GA drawings, equipment datasheets, and BOQs.
• Knowledge of CNG operations and maintenance.
• Good understanding of CNG HSE procedures, Permit-to-Work (PTW), LOTO, and related safety practices.
• Strong project coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
