Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, perform account reconciliations, prepare financial statements, and support accurate financial reporting across the company’s Oil & Gas and Construction operations.
Key Requirements
* A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is compulsory.
* Minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant, hands-on accounting experience.
* Previous experience in the Oil & Gas or Construction industry is an advantage
* Good knowledge of financial reporting and the preparation of Profit & Loss Accounts, Trial Balance, and Balance Sheets.
* Practical experience in bank reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger management.
* Good understanding of tax processes, including VAT, WHT and PAYE.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, SAP or similar tools.
* Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and proper financial documentation.
* Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle confidential financial information.
ICAN, ACCA or other relevant professional accounting qualifications will be an added advantage.
Candidates must have practical knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
