Role Summary
The DevOps Engineer ensures the reliability, scalability and automation of Netzence's FinTech infrastructure, managing cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems and deployment processes so engineering teams can deliver products quickly, securely and reliably. The role is central to platform availability, incident response and operational excellence
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure and Platform Reliability
- Design, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure and GCP environments
- Ensure high system availability, performance and scalability
- Implement monitoring, alerting and logging solutions
CI/CD and Automation
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable deployments
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
- Reduce manual operational tasks through scripting and tooling
Incident Management and Operational Support
- Lead or support incident response, root-cause analysis and remediation
- Participate in on-call rotations where applicable
- Drive continuous improvements based on operational insights
Security, Backup and Compliance
- Implement security controls, access management and backup strategies
- Support cybersecurity and compliance teams with infrastructure-level controls
- Ensure disaster recovery readiness
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related field
- 4-7 years of experience working on FinTech products
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Strong background in CI/CD, containerisation (Docker) and automation
- Experience in FinTech or high-availability production environments
- Strong troubleshooting and systems-thinking skills
