Human Resources Manager

PMN Farms Limited is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee recruitment, employee administration, performance management, staff welfare, and HR compliance across its farm sites and offices

About the Role

The role covers workforce planning, HR policy, performance management, staff welfare, and compliance for permanent, temporary, casual, and ad hoc staff across multiple locations

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate workforce planning, recruitment, interviews, and onboarding
• Maintain job descriptions, employment documents, and confidential personnel records
• Develop and implement HR policies and monitor attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and staff movements
• Coordinate performance reviews, training, and staff development
• Manage employee grievances, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution
• Oversee HR administration for permanent, temporary, casual, and ad hoc staff
• Coordinate staff exits, handovers, and clearance processes
• Visit company sites to address staff concerns and review working conditions
• Prepare regular reports on staffing, recruitment, attendance, turnover, and unresolved HR matters
• Ensure compliance with applicable employment requirements and maintain confidentiality

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant HR experience, including responsibility for core HR processes
• Experience managing employees across multiple locations; agricultural or production-sector experience is an advantage
• Strong communication, documentation, conflict-resolution, and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently, use digital HR tools, and travel to company sites
• CIPM membership or a relevant professional qualification is an advantage

Compensation

NGN 250,000 monthly

Location

Hybrid / Remote, Nigeria; site visits to company farm sites and offices required
