Job Details
- Location: Lagos, Nigeria (fully onsite, office-based)
- Reporting to: Head of Growth
MANO is looking for a Marketing Lead to own its marketing and digital strategy end to end: building the plan, executing it through an integrated multichannel approach, and driving sustained customer growth and retention. The role also owns bringing the brand positioning and identity revamp to life
Responsibilities
- Own the development and delivery of MANO's marketing strategy and annual plan, aligned with the Head of Growth and broader business goals
- Build and run an integrated marketing program across all MANO stores and the MANO App that drives sales and measurable results
- Execute targeted consumer initiatives across traditional media and digital platforms (shopper incentive programs, social media, email marketing), optimizing based on performance
- Lead special marketing events, from product launches to closed forum sessions and other customer initiatives
- Coordinate PR efforts, build relationships with key media, and grow app exposure and awareness
- Evaluate marketing activities against sales results, consumer response, publicity value, product success, and community engagement
- Mentor, coach, and grow direct reports
Requirements
- University degree, preferably in Marketing or a related commercial discipline; relevant certifications a plus
- Strategic thinker with a strong grasp of market insights: audience targeting, influencing, and segmentation
- Strong knowledge of SEO, PPC and SEM
- Strong data analytics skills
- Proven experience building partnerships with agencies, vendors, and influencers
- Excellent communication skills; confident and comfortable challenging the status quo
- Strong digital experience across multiple channels, with proficiency in budget creation and management
