Job Details

• Location: Lagos (fully onsite, Island-based preferred)
• Reporting to: CRM Lead
• Experience: 3 to 4 years

The CRM Specialist owns the day-to-day design and execution of lifecycle and retention programs across Nigeria and Angola, turning retention strategy into live, automated campaigns that improve engagement, repeat purchase, and customer lifetime value

Responsibilities

• Build and execute lifecycle programs (onboarding, activation, retention, reactivation, win-back) across email, push, and in-app using MoEngage
• Design and run reactivation and win-back journeys for lapsed and dormant users
• Build, maintain, and optimize automated multi-step flows
• Develop and manage customer segments using behavioural and transactional data
• Plan and run A/B tests on subject lines, creative, timing, audiences, and journey logic
• Track lifecycle KPIs, build reports and dashboards, and share recommendations with the CRM Lead
• Work with Marketing, Growth, Product, and Data teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
• 3 to 4 years of experience in CRM, lifecycle, or retention marketing, ideally in e-commerce, tech, or a high-growth environment
• Proven hands-on experience building customer journeys, segmentation, and retention and reactivation campaigns for an app or online product (essential)
• Strong working knowledge of MoEngage, Braze, or a similar platform
• Solid grasp of marketing metrics (open rate, CTR, conversion, retention, repeat rate, churn)
• Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets; Mixpanel or similar analytics tools is a plus
