Internal Audit Manager

Consulting DCC Enterprises is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to oversee audit activities, assess financial and operational risks, strengthen internal controls, and ensure compliance across the company's business units

• Location: Ikeja, Lagos
• Job Type: Full-time
• Compensation: NGN 600,000 - 650,000 monthly

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement risk-based audit plans
• Supervise audits across departments, outlets, warehouses, and production facilities
• Review financial transactions, procurement, sales records, inventory, and operational processes
• Evaluate internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies
• Investigate suspected fraud, stock discrepancies, and unauthorised transactions
• Conduct stock counts, asset verification, and financial reconciliations
• Prepare audit reports and recommend corrective actions
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations
• Lead and develop audit personnel
• Collaborate with management to improve efficiency and prevent financial losses
• Present significant audit findings to senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5-8 years of relevant audit experience, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities
• ICAN, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of internal auditing, risk management, fraud detection, and internal controls
• Experience in financial, inventory, operational, and compliance audits
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or audit management software
• Excellent analytical, investigative, leadership, and report-writing skills
• High integrity, objectivity, and attention to detail
