Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable web applications
• Lead frontend development using React, Next.js and TypeScript
• Build and manage APIs using Node.js and/or Python
• Design and maintain microservices and core business logic
• Manage authentication, authorization and application security
• Design and optimize databases and queries
• Manage CI/CD, testing and cloud deployments
• Use Docker and platforms such as AWS, Vercel or GCP
• Review code and mentor junior developers
• Collaborate with Product, Design and QA teams to deliver projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related technology field from a recognized university, with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division
• A minimum of five O'Level credits obtained in no more than two sittings, including English Language and Mathematics
• 3-5 years of relevant post-NYSC full stack development experience
• Strong experience with React, Next.js and TypeScript
• Proven experience building production APIs with Node.js and/or Python
• Good understanding of system design, microservices and scalability
• Strong database design and performance skills
• Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD and cloud deployment
• Strong understanding of application security

Nice to Have

• Experience leading a small team or technical module
• Experience with monitoring, logging or infrastructure as code
• Open-source contributions or technical writing
