About this role
Talentforge Solutions Limited, an HR consulting firm focused on recruitment, training and outsourcing, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing, purchasing and supply of goods and services for the organization in Abuja
The ideal candidate will ensure timely procurement at the best value while maintaining good supplier relationships and proper documentation
Job Details
- Location: Abuja (FCT)
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Salary: NGN 250,000 per month
Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers for quality, price and reliability
- Request quotations, compare bids, and negotiate prices and terms
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and track deliveries
- Maintain accurate procurement records and files
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures
- Liaise with vendors and resolve issues relating to delivery, quality and payment
- Prepare regular procurement reports for management
Requirements
- BSc or HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
- 2-3 years experience in procurement or a related role
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Good knowledge of procurement processes and the Nigerian market
- Excellent communication, organization and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
