Job Details
- Location: Osun State, Nigeria
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant farm management experience
- Remuneration: Attractive salary and other benefits, commensurate with qualifications and experience
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily farm operations
- Plan and manage crop and/or livestock production activities
- Supervise farm workers and ensure effective use of labour
- Monitor farm inputs, equipment, inventory and general resources
- Maintain accurate records of farm activities, production, expenses and yields
- Ensure proper maintenance of farm facilities, machinery and equipment
- Implement good agricultural practices and appropriate farm management techniques
- Monitor productivity and recommend measures to improve efficiency and profitability
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
Requirements
- Degree or HND in Agriculture, Agricultural Science, Animal Science, Crop Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant farm management experience
- Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of modern farming practices
- Ability to work independently and supervise farm staff effectively
- Must be hardworking, trustworthy, responsible and passionate about agriculture
- Ability to prepare basic farm reports and manage farm records
