Technical Sales Executive

Fabmac is seeking a competent and results-driven Technical Sales Executive to join its team in the architectural glass and partition systems industry. The role suits candidates who combine technical knowledge of building construction with strong sales, customer relationship management and project coordination skills

The successful candidate will engage clients, interpret architectural drawings, take accurate measurements, prepare quotations and coordinate sales-related project activities

Job Details

• Location: Oregun, near Ojota, Ikeja, Lagos
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (65% remote, 35% on-site for client visits, site measurements and project coordination)
• Job Type: Full-time
• Experience: Minimum 3 years (at least 2 years hands-on in the glass, aluminium, glazing or building construction industry)
• Salary: NGN 250,000 - 300,000 gross monthly (depending on experience) plus sales commission

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities
• Engage prospective and existing clients to drive sales
• Take accurate site measurements and assess project requirements
• Interpret architectural drawings and prepare material estimates
• Prepare quotations and technical sales proposals
• Advise clients on suitable glass and partition solutions
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Maintain strong client relationships and follow up on sales leads

Educational Requirements

BSc or HND from a recognised Nigerian institution, or equivalent, in any of the following

• Building Technology
• Architectural Technology
• Quantity Surveying
• Civil Engineering Technology
• Other relevant technical or construction-related disciplines

Required Technical Skills

• Accurate linear measurements and metric unit conversions
• Area calculations in square metres and material quantity estimation
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, construction plans and technical specifications, and explain them clearly to clients
• Understanding of construction terminology and site procedures
• Knowledge of architectural glass applications and installation principles
• Familiarity with tempered (toughened), laminated and double-glazed glass
• Understanding of aluminium and glass partition systems
• Ability to view and interpret PDF architectural drawings
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other architectural drawing software is an added advantage
