Key Responsibilities
- Oversee facility maintenance, inspections and repairs
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning and other building systems
- Monitor daily operations, equipment and company resources
- Inspect company properties and project sites, ensuring cleanliness, safety and functionality
- Coordinate contractors, technicians, vendors and service providers
- Monitor maintenance work, obtain quotations and verify completed jobs
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and security procedures
- Monitor maintenance budgets, operational costs and expenses
- Maintain asset inventories and records of equipment, repairs and inspections
- Prepare operational reports and follow up on outstanding maintenance requests
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Facilities Management, Estate Management, Building Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field
- 3 to 5 years' relevant experience in facilities management, property maintenance or operations coordination
- Experience in construction or real estate is an advantage
- Good understanding of building maintenance, electrical and plumbing systems, and facility inspections
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures and risk management
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, communication and reporting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools
- Ability to coordinate service providers and work independently
- Relevant professional certifications are an added advantage
