About this role
POWERCHINA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented *Geophysical Engineering Intern* to join its team. This internship is ideal for recent graduates or final-year students who are passionate about geophysics and eager to gain practical experience in geophysical surveys, data analysis, and field operations while working alongside experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with geophysical field surveys and data acquisition.
* Support the processing and interpretation of geophysical data.
* Prepare technical reports, maps, and survey documentation.
* Assist in equipment setup, calibration, and maintenance.
* Ensure compliance with safety procedures during field activities.
* Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
* B.Sc. or HND in Geophysics, Geophysical Engineering, Applied Geophysics, or a related discipline.
* Recent graduate or final-year student seeking internship experience.
* Basic knowledge of geophysical survey methods and data interpretation.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with geophysical software is an advantage.
* Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to travel for fieldwork when required.
