About this role
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide accurate English-Chinese (Mandarin) interpretation during meetings and daily operations.
2. Translate technical documents, reports, and correspondence between English and Chinese.
3. Facilitate effective communication between Chinese and Nigerian staff.
4. Accompany project teams to field sites to provide interpretation and communication support when required.
5. Prepare and translate reports, meeting minutes, and other project documentation.
6. Perform other translation and administrative duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Male candidate.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language, Linguistics, Translation, or a related field.
3. Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Chinese Translator/Interpreter, preferably in engineering or construction.
4. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written).
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Must be willing to travel frequently and work on project sites when required.
