Credit Officer

Entourage Integrated Trust Limited, a premier microfinance and financial services institution specializing in micro and corporate lending solutions across 12 states in Nigeria, is recruiting proactive Credit Officers (10 Openings). Based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, these full-time professionals will operate across key local commercial hubs including Creek Market, New Road Borokiri, Diobu, Mile 1, Creek Road, Ikokwu, Ogbogoro, Egbelu, Big Tree, and Eleparonwo—evaluating client creditworthiness, managing loan portfolios, and driving daily/weekly loan recovery.

Employment Type: Full-time (Flexible hours: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Salary: ₦104,000 Starting Monthly Salary (Includes Bi-annual Profit Sharing, HMO, Yearly Appraisals, and Performance Reviews)

Key Responsibilities

• Loan Processing & Evaluation: Review incoming loan applications, analyze client financial data, determine risk ratios, and assess total creditworthiness.
• Field Collections & Monitoring: Conduct daily and weekly loan repayment collections, monitor the performance of active portfolios, and minimize default rates.
• Document & Client Management: Gather mandatory financial documentation, establish structured repayment schedules, maintain updated digital/physical loan records, and manage renewal cycles.
• Risk Assessment & Approvals: Analyze financial metrics to approve or reject micro-lending requests in strict compliance with internal credit policies.
• Client Relations & Advisory: Build transparent relationships with market traders, small business owners, and corporate clients to deliver seamless lending customer service.

Requirements

• Education: NCE, OND, HND, or B.Sc. Degree in Banking and Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Proven hands-on experience as a Credit Officer, Loan Officer, or direct marketer within microfinance or retail lending environments.
• Location/Field Knowledge: In-depth familiarity with commercial trading sectors within Port Harcourt (e.g., Creek Market, Diobu, Mile 1, Ikokwu, Borokiri, Ogbogoro, etc.).
• Technical Skills: Practical understanding of micro-lending procedures, risk assessment models, and financial spreadsheet processing (MS Excel).
