Tech Volunteer Assistant

Mercatura Online Technology, an ICT company operating digital education and tech-hub programs across Nigeria and Africa, is recruiting a remote Tech Volunteer Assistant. Timed with the company’s 7th-anniversary celebration, this role is ideal for students, recent graduates, NYSC corps members, and tech enthusiasts who want to build their portfolios, support virtual tech programs, and earn a monthly income.

• Customer & Community Support: Provide day-to-day technical assistance to customers, onboarding participants, and tech enthusiasts.

• Virtual Events & Live Streaming: Set up and manage virtual session equipment, support livestreaming for online workshops/trainings, and lead live presentations for new tech users.

• Administrative & Scheduling Tasks: Create and schedule event appointments, manage calendar invites, and handle automated email notifications and announcements.

• Digital Marketing & Engagement: Broadcast Mercatura’s tech products, services, and educational programs on social media to drive community interest.

• Data Management & Internal Training: Maintain digital records and backups, and assist in onboarding or training team members on basic tech tools when required.

• Qualification: Minimum of an OND, HND, Bachelor's Degree, or current enrollment in a tech school/program.

• Target Applicants: Students, recent graduates, serving NYSC members, and tech enthusiasts.

• Background or study in Computer Science, Information Technology, Customer Service, or Sales & Marketing is a plus.

• Relevant productivity tool certifications (e.g., Google Workspace, Trello, Asana, Salesforce) are an added advantage.

• Basic familiarity with live-streaming tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, OBS) and social media platforms.
