Operations Manager

HOP Services Limited—a hospitality solutions and cleaning firm with over a decade of industry experience—is recruiting an Operations Manager for its operations in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

• Daily Operational Leadership: Direct overall day-to-day facility operations, ensuring seamless inter-departmental coordination and consistent service delivery.

• Guest Experience & Satisfaction: Maintain high guest satisfaction metrics by handling inquiries, resolving complaints, and driving continuous service quality improvements.

• Team Leadership & Development: Supervise department heads, oversee staff scheduling/productivity, coordinate regular training sessions, and evaluate staff performance with HR.

• Financial & Revenue Management: Monitor operational budgets, analyze revenues and expenses, implement cost-saving initiatives, and support revenue-optimization strategies across departments.

• Health, Safety & Compliance: Enforce hygiene, food safety, fire, and facility safety protocols, conduct safety training/drills, and ensure adherence to local labor laws and facility licensing.

• Facility & Maintenance Oversight: Manage building upkeep (guest areas, dining, back-of-house), coordinate with technical teams for equipment repairs, and oversee third-party vendor/contractor agreements.

• Education & Qualification: Relevant tertiary degree or professional qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in hotel operations, hospitality management, or facility management.

• Key Skills: Proven leadership and staff management capabilities, financial acumen, knowledge of facility health and safety standards, and strong problem-solving abilities.
