About this role
Sundry Foods Limited—an integrated food services and restaurant group operating across Nigeria—is recruiting for 7 Unit Accountant positions across multiple state locations. Reporting to the Unit Manager and Finance Department, these full-time roles represent accounting and treasury operations at the store level, safeguarding cash and stock assets, managing daily sales reconciliation, and supporting financial recordkeeping across restaurants, bakeries, and catering units.
Key Responsibilities

Unit Treasury & Cash Management: Oversee daily cash collection, safe balance custody, and cash register audits at the unit level.

Asset & Inventory Safeguarding: Safeguard current assets, track raw material stock usage, monitor store inventory, and conduct periodic stock counts.

Financial Recordkeeping & Reconciliation: Post daily sales, log expense vouchers, prepare daily cash reconciliations, and compile financial reports for corporate finance review.

Operational Reporting: Partner with unit restaurant/bakery managers on inventory variance analysis, waste management logs, and local supplier payments.

Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting with a minimum of 2:2 / Lower Credit.

Software Competencies: Solid Microsoft Excel skills; exposure to ERP applications or accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) is advantageous.

Core Qualities: High resilience, positive attitude, self-motivated execution, and high attention to detail in high-volume retail/restaurant settings.
