Key Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso-based drinks, including cappuccino, latte, mocha and other specialty beverages
• Operate espresso machines, grinders and other beverage equipment
• Steam and texture milk and maintain consistent drink quality
• Take customer orders and process payments using the POS system
• Recommend beverages and other menu items to customers
• Maintain a clean and organised coffee station and equipment
• Monitor beverage supplies, assist with inventory checks and minimise wastage
• Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards
• Handle customer complaints professionally and support general cafe operations

Requirements

• 1-2 years' experience as a Barista in a cafe or similar beverage environment
• Practical knowledge of espresso preparation and coffee-making techniques
• Ability to operate commercial espresso machines and grinders
• Good milk-steaming and texturing skills
• Latte art skills are an advantage
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, cleanliness and personal hygiene
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently during busy periods
• Reliable, punctual and team-oriented
