Cashier

Aztec Microfinance Bank Limited—a Tier-1 Unit Microfinance Bank licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and insured by the NDIC—is recruiting a Cashier for its office in Lugbe, Abuja (FCT). This full-time position handles daily over-the-counter cash processing, deposit/withdrawal transactions, POS reconciliation, record-keeping, and front-facing customer support.

• Employment Type: Full-time (Shift work, including weekends/public holidays as needed)

• Transaction Processing: Receive and process cash deposits, loan repayments, and withdrawals accurately over the counter or via POS devices.

• Cash Management & Reconciliation: Maintain accurate cash floats, balance daily cash drawers and POS totals, issue official receipts, and account for all collections.

• Record Keeping: Keep detailed logs of daily financial transactions and ensure zero discrepancies between physical cash and system postings.

• Customer Service: Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to banking clients, answering queries and resolving basic payment issues.

• Education: Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: 1 to 2 years of practical experience in cash handling, POS management, or front-line transaction roles (hospitality, retail, or banking environments).

• Location Requirement: Must reside around the Lugbe axis in Abuja.
