About this role
Solina Centre for International Development and Research (SCIDaR)—an indigenous non-profit development institution executing high-impact health, economic, and social transformation programs across West and Central Africa—is recruiting NYSC Interns across Abuja (FCT), Kano, and Lagos. This program support role offers high-performing Corps Members hands-on experience in public health strategy, program implementation workflows, data analysis, stakeholder management, and field project monitoring.

Academic Criteria: First-Class Bachelor's Degree in STEM, Applied Sciences, Public Health, Health Management, Economics, Management Sciences, or Engineering

Eligibility: Must be currently deployed or scheduled for deployment under the NYSC scheme at the time of application

Program Implementation & Execution: Support the execution of daily program workflows, test project hypotheses, gather and analyze quantitative/qualitative data, and escalate project bottlenecks to Program Analysts and Associates.

Stakeholder Coordination: Participate in technical problem-solving sessions with primary clients and partner organizations to brainstorm implementation solutions.

Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E): Monitor routine program activities to guarantee quality standards, track deliverables against agreed key performance indicators (KPIs), and assist in mid-term and end-term evaluations.

Documentation & Reporting: Document progress reports, synthesize key project findings, and maintain active communication channels with project leads.

Academic Distinction: First-Class Honors Bachelor's Degree in Applied Sciences, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Management, Economics, Management Sciences, Engineering, or related STEM disciplines from an accredited university.

NYSC Service Status: Active deployment or pending deployment within the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.

Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic data analysis techniques.

Core Competencies: Exceptional logical reasoning, strategic problem-solving abilities, strong verbal/written communication skills, and commitment to human development goals.
