Network Solutions Engineer
About this role
Prolato Technologies Limited—an indigenous ICT company specializing in ICT infrastructure, IT security, support, and professional services delivery—is recruiting a Network Solutions Engineer for its office in Surulere, Lagos State. This technical sales and engineering role bridges technical precision with business strategy by designing enterprise network architectures, delivering Proof of Concepts (POCs), and responding to technical tenders.
Key Responsibilities
- Presales & Technical Qualification: Assist with technical qualification of sales opportunities, build tailored Proof of Concepts (POCs), and draft responses for RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
- Solution Design & Architecture: Analyze enterprise IT infrastructure and network architectures to design, present, and deploy custom technology solutions tailored to client needs.
- Cross-Team Engagement & Admin: Collaborate with sales and technical teams to engage enterprise clients while executing daily administrative tasks, reporting, and inter-departmental communications.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Academic Credentials: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a technology-related field from a recognized university.
- Technical Skills & Certifications: 1–5 years of network engineering experience with hands-on exposure to Cisco devices (switches, routers); relevant professional certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA A+) are a distinct advantage.
- Core Competencies: Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, solid technical presentation capabilities, and effective business communication.
