Electro-Mechanical Engineer

Foshan JIEKO Machinery Equipment Co., Limited—a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, manufacturing, and export of industrial packaging machinery, vertical/pillow packing systems, and filling lines—is recruiting an Electro-Mechanical Engineer for its expanding production line, warehouse, and technical service hub in Ikeja, Lagos State. This technical field and workshop role is responsible for the hands-on assembly, site installation, testing, calibration, and maintenance of industrial packaging equipment and commercial machinery across West Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembly & Site Installation: Perform electrical and mechanical assembly, site installation, and setup of packaging equipment and commercial ovens based on engineering schematics.
• Testing & Commissioning: Execute operational testing, calibrate systems, troubleshoot electro-mechanical faults, and ensure machines meet safety standards prior to hand-over.
• Quality Control & Client Support: Conduct pre-delivery stock inspections, deliver basic technical training to clients upon site deployment, and complete detailed installation/service logs.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Academic Background: Technical School Certificate, OND, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Work Experience: 1–3 years of practical experience working with industrial machinery (packaging equipment, food processing lines, commercial appliances, or electromechanical automation).
• Technical Capabilities: Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read electrical wiring diagrams, proficiency with power/hand tools and diagnostic testing instruments, and physical fitness to handle heavy machinery parts.
• Personal Traits: High commitment to safety standards, reliable work ethic, strong troubleshooting skills, and results-driven attention to detail.
