Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Beebeejump International Limited—a solar energy equipment manufacturer and distributor specializing in batteries, inverters, and solar panels—is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for its operations in Ikeja, Lagos State. This technical field service and bench-repair role focuses on electronic circuit troubleshooting, solar hardware component replacement, inverter/battery maintenance, and on-site system installations across grid-tied and off-grid configurations.

Key Responsibilities

• Hardware Repair & Bench Testing: Diagnose circuit board faults using electronic schematics; perform soldering and component-level mother-board repairs on inverters, solar charge controllers, and battery systems.

• On-Site Installation & Field Support: Execute technical field calls for both on-grid and off-grid solar system checks, preventive maintenance, upgrades, and complex fault resolution.

• Technical Customer Support: Provide after-sales technical support to end-users and installation partners; communicate root-cause diagnostics clearly.

• Service Documentation: Maintain comprehensive service logs, repair reports, and warranty tracking metrics for the engineering unit.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Academic Background: Degree/Higher National Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a closely related discipline.

• Technical Competencies: Proficient in electronic circuit diagram interpretation, soldering/desoldering tools, multimeter/oscilloscope diagnostic tools, and both on-grid/off-grid solar architecture.

• Core Skills: Analytical troubleshooting, technical customer support, time management, and willingness to perform field work across installation sites.
