About this role
Ascentech Services Limited—a human resources solutions and talent search firm—is recruiting a Regulatory Affairs Manager on behalf of a leading manufacturing enterprise (fMCG, Pharmaceuticals, or Industrial Chemicals) based in Lagos State. Reporting to the General Manager / Executive Director, this senior compliance role leads product registrations, dossier submissions, import/export permits, and strategic liaison with regulatory authorities including NAFDAC, SON, and the Ministry of Health.
Key Responsibilities

NAFDAC & SON Product Registration: Compile and submit product registration dossiers, variation applications, import/export permits, and renewal filings to NAFDAC, SON, and relevant regulatory agencies.

Compliance & Label Assurance: Review product formulations, packaging labels, and marketing collateral to guarantee strict adherence to statutory Nigerian and ECOWAS standards.

Regulatory Authority Liaison: Serve as the primary institutional representative during NAFDAC/SON factory audits, facility inspections, post-market surveillance reviews, and product recall protocols.

Cross-Functional Advisory & Leadership: Guide R&D, QA/QC, supply chain, and legal units on changing regulatory frameworks while mentoring the internal regulatory affairs team.

Academic Credentials: B.Pharm, B.Sc. Industrial Chemistry, or related science degree (B.Pharm with Pharmacists Council of Nigeria certification is highly advantageous).

Regulatory Expertise: Deep mastery of NAFDAC guidelines, Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) codes, customs clearance permits, and West African (ECOWAS) trade compliance.

Core Competencies: Technical dossier compilation, agency negotiation, audit readiness, risk mitigation, and team leadership.
