Internal Control Officer

Amo Farm Sieberer Hatchery Limited—a commercial poultry hatchery and livestock production enterprise—is recruiting an Internal Control Officer for its farm and hatchery facility in Awe, Oyo State. Reporting to the Internal Control Manager (ICM) / Head of Internal Control (HIC), this operational control role performs daily transaction call-overs, fuel/diesel consumption audits, inventory monitoring, credit sales verifications, and fraud prevention protocols across hatchery and feed mill operations.

• Daily Call-Over & Financial Verification: Review daily accounting postings, ensure accurate recording of income/expenses, verify payable portfolios, and ensure IOUs are retired within 48 hours.

• Asset Safeguarding & Diesel Audit: Oversee physical security of inventory, fixed assets, and consumables; track vendor diesel deliveries and internal dispensing to eliminate fuel theft, conversion, or pilferage.

• Credit Control & Budgetary Compliance: Verify all credit sales approvals against credit limits and enforce strict budget compliance as authorized by management.

• Fraud Prevention & HSE Audits: Detect and prevent operational errors, shortages, or forgery; enforce health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards across farm units; submit audit findings to the ICM/HIC.

• Academic & Professional Credentials: B.Sc./HND in Accounting + ICAN ATS Certification + 2–3 years internal control experience.

• Sector Knowledge: Understanding of agribusiness, poultry supply chains, hatchery operations, and inventory audit methodologies.

• Core Competencies: Daily transaction call-over, fuel inventory reconciliation, budget control, report writing, lateral thinking, and high ethical integrity.
