About this role
Agricare Std Plus Limited—an agro-allied manufacturing and veterinary distribution enterprise operating since 2006—is recruiting a Head, Internal Control / Audit for its corporate headquarters and primary supply chain hub in Ibadan, Oyo State. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board Audit Committee, this executive leadership role designs, enforces, and audits internal control frameworks, fraud prevention mechanisms, inventory tracking systems, and statutory financial compliance protocols across the firm's nationwide agricultural distribution network.
Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Risk & Control Architecture: Design, implement, and periodically update the group's internal control frameworks across sales depots, manufacturing facilities, procurement, and treasury operations.

Audit Execution & Forensic Investigations: Lead routine and special internal audits; conduct root-cause investigations into stock discrepancies, suspected fraud, or financial irregularities across regional distribution points.

Inventory Control & Asset Safeguarding: Oversee periodic physical stock counts, reconcile warehouse ledger balances against ERP records, and audit factory asset maintenance schedules.

Board Governance & Regulatory Compliance: Compile detailed audit findings and risk assessment reports for the Board Audit Committee; liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and agricultural regulatory bodies.

Mandatory Credentials: B.Sc. in Accounting/Finance + active ICAN, ACCA, ACA, CPA, or CIA certification.

Technical Mastery: In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), COSO risk management frameworks, forensic accounting, and inventory audit mechanics.

Software Toolstack: Advanced literacy in ERP accounting packages (e.g., SAP, Sage, QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel (data analytics, auditing formulas, risk modeling).
