Plant Manager - Feedmill

Agribond Group—a leading agro-industrial conglomerate in poultry, feed manufacturing, and frozen food distribution (parent company of Sayed Farms, Breedwell Feeds, Breedwell Agri Feeds, and Snagro)—is recruiting a Plant Manager - Feedmill for its production facilities in Lagos. This senior operational leadership role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end feedmill plant operations, machinery maintenance, quality assurance protocols, inventory logistics, and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

• Feedmill Operations & Production Management: Oversee daily feed manufacturing processes, batching accuracy, pelleting operations, and processing equipment maintenance to maximize output yields.

• Quality Assurance & Standards: Enforce strict quality control frameworks on incoming raw material grains, feed additives, finished feed formulations, and nutritional safety compliance.

• Supply Chain & Warehousing: Manage raw material inventory, finished feed warehousing, distribution logistics, and supply chain scheduling to align plant production with farm demand.

• Plant Leadership & Safety: Lead engineering technicians, mill operators, and warehouse staff, maintaining health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across the facility.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Animal Science, or a related agricultural/industrial field.

• Work Experience: 6–10 years of direct hands-on management experience running commercial feedmill plants or large-scale agro-processing facilities.

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of feed milling machinery, steam boilers, batching systems, grain storage silos, and quality testing protocols.

• Core Competencies: Technical problem-solving, operational leadership, supply chain oversight, and cost-effective maintenance management.
