Communications Manager

Amo Farm Sieberer Hatchery Limited—a market leader in poultry production, Day-Old Chicks (DOC), and agricultural research and development—is recruiting a Communications Manager for its corporate headquarters in Magodo, Lagos State. This senior functional lead will serve as the custodian of the company's brand identity, overseeing internal and external communications, media relations, digital media strategy, executive ghostwriting, and reputation management across the agribusiness value chain.

• Strategic & External Communications: Formulate integrated communication strategies, write press releases, draft executive speeches, manage corporate publishing, and build relations with tier-1 media organizations.

• Internal & Culture Communications: Oversee internal channels (newsletters, town halls, intranet updates), partner with HR on employer branding, and translate business objectives into clear employee-facing messages.

• Digital & Media Management: Oversee the company’s digital footprint, manage social media calendars, track PR/digital engagement analytics, and coordinate multimedia production agencies.

• Crisis & Executive Positioning: Develop crisis management protocols, prepare holding statements during operational contingencies, and position senior executives as key thought leaders in the African poultry and agriculture sectors.

• Core Competencies: Exceptional copywriting, editor-level editing, narrative storytelling, strategic brand alignment, and media crisis management.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital analytics, CMS/social platforms, PR distribution, and campaign project management.

• Personal Attributes: Strong executive presence, high emotional intelligence, ability to handle confidential information, and multi-stakeholder negotiation skills.
