Inventory / Store Officer

X-Force Engineering Limited, an infrastructure and construction contract servicing company, is seeking an Inventory/Store Officer responsible for the systematic receipt, storage, issuance, recording, and reconciliation of materials, equipment, tools, and consumables across its construction and infrastructure project sites.

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and specifications
• Identify and classify stock using thorough knowledge of construction and civil engineering materials (rebar, structural steel, cement, aggregates, pipes, formwork, etc.)
• Record all stock movements accurately and promptly in the inventory system
• Conduct regular daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconcile variances
• Monitor minimum stock levels and raise requisitions to prevent shortfalls
• Organize and maintain the store, ensuring FIFO-based storage and proper labelling
• Enforce store access controls and ensure issuances are backed by approved MRNs
• Identify, quarantine, and report damaged or substandard materials
• Prepare weekly and monthly stock reports for the Procurement and Project Managers
• Ensure full compliance with HSE requirements in the store and materials handling area

• BSc/HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering Technology, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline
• Professional certification (CIPS Foundation or equivalent CIPMN-recognised qualification) is desirable
• Minimum of 2–4 years' hands-on experience in inventory, stores, or materials management, preferably in construction/civil engineering
• Demonstrated practical knowledge of construction materials
• Experience managing stock records manually and/or using inventory management/ERP systems
• Experience conducting physical stock counts and preparing stock reports
• Experience working within an HSE-conscious construction environment
