About the Role
Unified Payment Services Limited is hiring a Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability Management Analyst in Lagos to identify, analyze, and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities across the organization's IT environment. This is a full-time, onsite role.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging threats, malware trends, and attacker techniques.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments across systems, applications, and cloud environments.
- Perform vulnerability scans using tools such as QualysGuard.
- Support incident response by identifying vulnerabilities exploited during attacks.
- Analyze security data, trends, and anomalies to provide actionable insights.
- Assess and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and impact.
- Test patches and configuration changes to validate remediation.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams on vulnerability remediation and threat intelligence.
Requirements
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, Diamond Model, and Cyber Kill Chain frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with QualysGuard and SIEM tools such as AlienVault.
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, and networking fundamentals.
- Knowledge of threat intelligence platforms and methodologies.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CEH, or GSEC are an advantage.
