About the Role
Regions Healthcare is recruiting a skilled Maintenance Electrical Engineer to join their facility maintenance team in Owerri, Imo State. The role covers upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment across the healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, panels, and wiring
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults on medical and facility equipment
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes
- Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize equipment and facility downtime
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
- Coordinate with biomedical engineering and facility teams on equipment issues
Requirements
- HND or B.Eng in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 1-3 years' hands-on maintenance experience (healthcare or industrial facility experience is an advantage)
- Strong knowledge of power systems, generators, and electrical safety practices
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics, and troubleshoot medical/facility equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to be on-call for emergencies
Location
Km 17 Owerri-Port Harcourt Expressway, Mgbirichi, Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria (onsite, full-time).
