Senior Content Designer

Moniepoint is a financial technology company building payment, banking, credit and business management tools for Africa’s businesses.

The Senior Content Designer owns content quality and strategy across a product area, shaping clear, inclusive and engaging experiences while supporting junior designers and influencing product teams.

• Lead content design from discovery through delivery, launch and iteration.
• Partner with product managers, designers and engineers on scope and sequencing.
• Create accessible and inclusive product content.
• Wireframe and prototype content solutions in Figma.
• Craft interface text, microcopy, error messages, help content and documentation.
• Use interviews, usability tests, experiments, audits and analytics as design inputs.
• Develop content style guides with brand and communications teams.
• Support junior content designers and stakeholder alignment.
• Explain design decisions and facilitate strategic working sessions.

• Five or more years of content design experience.
• Strong understanding of content design as a product discipline.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-changing environment.
• Knowledge of content design principles and product thinking.
• Experience with A/B testing, UX metrics and research.
• Strong product intuition and understanding of technical constraints.
• Good Figma skills for collaboration and prototyping.
• Cross-functional experience and ability to advocate for content design.
• Fintech or SaaS experience is an advantage.
