Senior Product Designer (UX)

Moniepoint is a financial technology company providing payment, banking, credit and business management products.

The Senior Product Designer will lead user-centred design for financial products, translating complex concepts into intuitive and accessible experiences while mentoring junior designers.

• Define design strategies aligned with user and business needs.
• Lead discovery, research, wireframing, prototyping and UI execution.
• Conduct user research, usability tests and A/B experiments.
• Partner with product managers and engineers on implementation.
• Design scalable components and contribute to the design system.
• Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design.
• Create micro-interactions and motion elements.
• Use analytics and research to improve user experience.
• Mentor junior designers and influence stakeholders.
• Track fintech design trends and best practices.

• Five or more years in a senior product design role.
• Mastery of visual design, typography, grids and colour.
• Expertise in interaction design, information architecture and user flows.
• Experience designing responsive mobile and web products.
• Knowledge of behavioural psychology and user decision-making.
• Experience with usability testing, interviews and heuristic evaluation.
• Ability to synthesise qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Familiarity with UX analytics tools.
• Experience mentoring designers and influencing cross-functional teams.
• Figma mastery and experience with scalable design libraries.
• Fintech or SaaS experience.
