Senior Accountant
About this role
Talented Workaholics is seeking a highly professional and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations, maintain accurate financial records, support financial planning, and ensure compliance with applicable tax and regulatory requirements
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Salary: NGN 450,000 - 600,000 per month
- Manage financial records and oversee daily accounting transactions
- Prepare budgets, financial statements, management reports, and financial forecasts
- Monitor income, expenses, cash flow, payroll, and vendor payments
- Ensure accurate preparation and maintenance of financial books and accounting records
- Ensure tax compliance and accuracy of statutory and regulatory filings
- Analyse financial information and provide insights to support business decisions
- Monitor financial controls and identify discrepancies or areas requiring corrective action
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting documentation
- Use accounting software and financial systems effectively for reporting and financial management
- BSc in Accounting with a minimum of Second Class Upper (2-1)
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant accounting experience
- Must be a Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience with accounting software
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and cash-flow management
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Highly professional, organised, and attentive to detail
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Competitive salary of NGN 450,000 - 600,000
