QC Manager

Speedaf Nigeria is hiring a QC Manager to lead quality control across its express delivery and logistics operations

• Design, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all operational stages, including pick-up, sorting, transit, and last-mile delivery
• Conduct regular internal audits of warehouses, sorting hubs, and transit vehicles to ensure adherence to safety and handling protocols
• Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time Delivery (OTD), Damage Rate, and Customer Complaint Resolution Time
• Ensure all operations comply with Nigerian regulations, including standards set by the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) and relevant transport and logistics licensing requirements
• Lead investigations into major service failures, lost shipments, or damaged goods
• Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
• Oversee quality training programmes for operations staff, drivers, and warehouse handlers so they understand the impact of their actions on service quality
• Analyse exception-parcel data and conduct on-site investigations among front-line and mid-level staff across pick-up, transit, sorting, and delivery
• Diagnose root causes of low pick-up rates, service attitude issues, delivery delays, parcel loss and damage, and human operational errors, then formulate targeted improvement plans and follow up closely on implementation
• Monitor end-to-end KPIs including pick-up rate, pickup-to-delivery SLA, parcel loss rate, damage rate, and customer complaints caused by service attitude or staff operational errors, and push for continuous improvement

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality control or operations management within the logistics, courier, or express delivery sector, with hands-on experience in established Nigerian logistics or express companies
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or logistics ERP systems)
• In-depth knowledge of Nigerian logistics industry regulations
• Experience with QMS documentation and audit procedures
• Strong leadership and the ability to drive change in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Candidates from logistics companies will be preferred
