Treasury Sales Manager

Scouthappy Partner is hiring on behalf of a venture-backed cross-border payments startup that simplifies how money moves across and into Africa. The platform uses technology such as stablecoins to make it easier for businesses to trade FX and offers hedging products to help customers manage currency risk

We are looking for a Treasury Sales Manager who understands the Nigerian FX market, has sold treasury products, and enjoys building customer relationships. An interest in stablecoins is a plus

Job Details

• Location: Remote (open to applicants in Nigeria)

• Work Arrangement: Remote
• Experience: 5-10 years in treasury sales, FX sales, or a similar commercial role

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage businesses with recurring FX needs, including multinationals, fintechs, and other corporate customers
• Build a qualified customer pipeline through existing relationships, referrals, and targeted outreach
• Understand customers expected currency flows and identify where the platform hedging products could be useful
• Explain the products clearly and guide prospective customers from initial conversations through onboarding and use
• Bring customer feedback to the team to help refine the offering and identify additional customer segments
• Identify potential market makers and liquidity partners

Requirements and Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in treasury sales, FX sales, or a similar commercial role, ideally within a bank or financial-market institution
• Strong understanding of the Nigerian FX market and the needs of customers who transact regularly
• An existing network of relevant customers or market participants
• Practical understanding of FX hedging instruments, including forwards, futures, and NDFs
• Ability to explain financial products clearly and build trust with customers
• Initiative and curiosity: identify opportunities, investigate unfamiliar customer segments, and follow through

Helpful Experience

• Experience selling hedging products or working with corporate treasury teams is particularly valuable
• Interest in stablecoins is a plus
