Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement corporate communications strategies aligned with business goals
- Lead and manage the corporate communications team
- Maintain consistent brand messaging across communication channels and departments
- Manage media relations, crisis communications, and responses to sensitive issues
- Prepare press releases, media kits, editorial content, and leadership talking points
- Monitor media coverage and sentiment, providing insights to senior leadership
- Lead internal communications to improve employee engagement and organisational culture
- Oversee newsletters, announcements, speeches, articles, presentations, and reports
- Support executive visibility through interviews, conferences, and public speaking
- Collaborate with marketing, design, digital, and HR teams on communication initiatives
- Strengthen corporate reputation through storytelling, community engagement, and thought leadership
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in corporate communications or public relations
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a portfolio of previous work
- Proven experience in media relations and crisis communications
- Strong strategic planning, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
- Familiarity with digital communication tools, social media platforms, and analytics
- Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
