Key Responsibilities
- Lead new product development and improve existing products
- Develop and optimise product formulations, processes, and production costs
- Conduct laboratory and factory-scale trials, including shelf-life studies
- Evaluate raw materials, ingredients, and packaging compatibility
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with Quality Control, Production, Procurement, and other departments to support product commercialisation
Requirements
- BSc in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing and R&D
- Practical experience in product formulation, process optimisation, and product trials
- Experience with powdered food products and dry blending is an advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills
Note: The R&D unit will operate independently of the Quality Control Department
