Amel International Services Limited, a food manufacturing company specialising in baking products and breakfast cereals, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to maintain production machinery, troubleshoot faults and improve equipment reliability

Key Responsibilities
- Execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and utilities
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime
- Maintain milling, grinding, sieving, conveying, mixing and packaging equipment
- Support maintenance of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motors, control panels and automation systems
- Assist with machine fabrication, modification, installation and commissioning
- Conduct root cause analysis and improve equipment reliability
- Maintain maintenance records, manage spare-parts requirements and ensure safety compliance
Requirements
- BSc, BEng or HND in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline
- 5-8 years of relevant industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Experience in FMCG, food processing, milling, sugar, salt or flour manufacturing is strongly preferred
- Practical knowledge of mechanical repairs, electrical systems and industrial automation
- Experience with locally fabricated machinery is an advantage
